For as long as I can remember, I have had a strong passion to create. Even as a child,
nothing thrilled me more than piling on my Grandmothers' jewelry to "create" my idea of
the perfect look. As I have grown, also has my passion for creating artistic expression
through personal style.
For most of my adult life I have had the great fortune to be a part of the most exclusive
Jewelry Salon Teams on the east and west coast. It was during this time that I was
encouraged and taught to exercise my mind's eye for excellence in design, as well as,
become educated in the field of gemology. Although I enjoyed working with multiple
precious metals, diamonds, and every other gemstone on the market, including the
extremely rare, I began to find this style of jewelry a bit predictable and unattainable for
most. I personally craved more artistic, yet wearable jewelry that would boast unique color
combinations and rare, natural gemstones that would also be created at the highest level of
quality; I wanted my jewelry to reflect my unique personal style and individuality.
Although I spent several years as an exclusive jewelry designer and sales leader in the
industry, I had not previously considered creating jewelry without the use of metal, nor had
I experienced creating jewelry using only silk or linen as the sole structural base of the
design, still I began to create jewelry of this type for my own personal use. As friends and
acquaintances grew more interested in my personal collection, my confidence in my
abilities with this medium also grew, and after years of dedicated practice and education,
the natural progression led to my own jewelry design company. Being my own Creative
Director has allowed me to successfully push the limits of creativity in my jewelry designs
without sacrificing excellence in quality or good taste.
I am so very excited and grateful each time I sit at my workspace for the opportunity to
create truly original jewelry, that is made with the greatest attention to detail and care, to
reflect the truly original individual that will own and cherish it. Thank you for your visit
